THE BEDFORD STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL A GREAT DAY FOR THE FAMILY

The Bedford Strawberry Festival with fun and activities for families and kids of all ages. Saturday June 18th from 11 to 3.

Looking for a fun outing? The Eight Annual Bedford Strawberry Festival will take place on Saturday June
18th from 11AM to 3PM. This is a family event with activities for all ages, but with special emphasis on
the kids. Strawberries are the featured item with delicious Strawberry Shortcake donated by Hannaford
Supermarkets, then prepared by volunteers from the New Hope Christian Fellowship Church. There’ll
also be hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings.
Admission is Free and includes use of a large inflatable Bounce House and Obstacle Course, so parents
will have plenty of time to browse the many local vendors, Town organizations, and artists. There is also
Face Painting, a 50/50 drawing and many other games and activities for kids of all ages. The Bedford
Police and Fire Departments will have a Fire Engine and Police Cruisers on display to show off their latest
technologies.
As with previous years, the Strawberry Festival will be held at the Performance Field immediately
adjacent to the Town Pool on County Road near the intersection of Nashua and County Roads. Check
our website for directions, follow signs to parking areas.
The Strawberry Festival is sponsored by the Friends of the Town of Bedford Cemeteries, whose mission
is protect and maintain the many historic grave markers in the town and to provide education about
their history. We are a 501 (c)(3) non‐profit charity organization of volunteers and all funds raised, goes
for this important work.
