Bedford Voters Petition to Put the Budget on The Ballot

Your vote matters. Now, more than ever.

Your vote on Bedford's budgets and taxes matter.

To ensure your voice is heard, your signature on a petition to begin the process to Put the Budget on the Ballot also matters.

More than 5000 voters came out to the polls on March 8th, 2022 to elect town officials, vote on specific articles, and vote on an $80 million dollar school budget.

But, the nearly $40 million dollar Town budget was not on the ballot.

It was approved at a meeting, the next night, by majority vote of 72 pople.

It's time for that to change.

In order to get the town budget on the ballot we need to create a commission to amend the town charter.

This petition will put the question directly to all Bedford voters.
