Bedford Woman Joins Alzheimer's Association

Heinze has been named development officer for the Massachusetts/NH chapter.

Kelly Heinze, of Bedford, has been named Development Officer, New Hampshire for the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter, according to a press statement from the organization.

Heinze previously worked for the American Cancer Society as a Community Executive and Relay for Life Specialist. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and is currently enrolled at Northeastern University for her master’s in Nonprofit Management and Project Management.

“I wanted to work for the Alzheimer’s Association because I felt it was a cause that hasn’t had the full attention it deserves,” said Heinze. “I want Alzheimer’s to be in the forefront of people’s minds and I am excited to work to achieve that.”

“I look forward to my work throughout the state of New Hampshire to help build three amazing Walk to End Alzheimer’s events in 2015,” said Heinze.
