Bedford's Perrella Named Managing Partner

Lance Turgeon and Alison Perrella are now leading Howe, Riley & Howe, an accounting firm with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth.

MANCHESTER, NH - Howe, Riley & Howe, an accounting firm with offices in Portsmouth and Manchester, recently announced its new managing partner team, according to a press statement.

Alison Perrella and Lance Turgeon took over as managing partners effective Jan. 1, 2016, replacing Peter J. Kiriakoutsos, who has managed the firm since 2006. Kiriakoutsos will continue as a principal in the firm working with clients providing tax, accounting and business consulting services in both the Manchester and Portsmouth offices.

Perrella, who lives in Bedford, joined the firm as a principal in 2012 after working as a sole practitioner for more than 20 years. She became a partner in 2015 and focuses her tax practice on providing planning, transactional, and compliance services to businesses, individuals, and trusts. As a managing partner, she will focus on Howe, Riley & Howe’s marketing and community engagement efforts.

Turgeon, who lives in Northfield with his wife and three children, has been a practicing CPA since 1996 and became a partner at Howe Riley & Howe in 2008. His areas of expertise include working with nonprofit organizations, long-term care facilities, private clubs, health and welfare benefit plans, insurance trusts, and manufacturing and publishing companies. As a managing partner, he will focus on administration of the firm.

Turgeon, an avid hiker who has climbed all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000 foot mountains twice, is a New Hampshire native and earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. He also earned an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.

Perrella is a Manchester native who earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College. She also holds a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley College and a master’s degree in accounting from Northeastern University. She has served in leadership roles in the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council, and has provided testimony and expertise on New Hampshire legislation affecting taxation and regulation of the CPA profession.
