BGSL Alum Ashley Abad hit a two-run homer in her first at-bat for the Assumption College Greyhounds. Her play during the opening weekend of the collegiate season earned her the Northeast-10 rookie of the week title.
Ashley played in BGSL for years and during her BHS Bulldogs career was a standout infielder for the Bulldogs. 4 years ago she started giving back to the League, volunteering as an assistant coach on various 12U teams, umpiring, and cheering on the girls as well as providing excellent instruction and as a role model - we all miss her, and are happy that she's is starting her college career off with a bang!
