Bicyclist, Car Collide on South River Road

The Bedford Police Department is looking for anyone who may have seen an accident between a vehicle and bicyclist last night on South River Road at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7.

According to police, officers were sent to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision at South River Road and Palomino Lane. A single vehicle struck bicycle. The bicyclist was transported to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries, according to Lt. Michael Bernard.

The department’s accident reconstruction team was called in and is continuing to investigate the crash.
