Even though Lavigne was walked six of eight plate appearances in the two-game state championship series against Lamprey River of Raymond, he slugged two homers when he was allowed to swing the bat. Overall, he was limited to 19 official at-bats in seven games due to the plethora of walks, yet he contributed 10 of his team's 23 dingers, and 24 of the Bedford's 108 runs en route to a 17-for-19 tourney showing.
