Bouncer Busted For Breaking Goffstown Man’s Jaw: Report

Isaiah Able of Manchester was arrested last night after an alleged incident at Penuche's Music Hall in early September.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local man who was employed as a bouncer at a night club in the Queen City was arrested last night after allegedly assaulting a patron and causing injuries last month, including a broken jaw, according to police. Isaiah Able, 21, of Manchester, was arrested on Oct. 19, 2017, on a single count of second-degree assault. Able was arrested on a warrant after police investigated an alleged incident on Sept. 10, at Penuche’s Music Hall, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

Able, at the time, was working as a bouncer at Penuche’s, and allegedly assaulted a Goffstown man during an incident at the bar, he alleged. “Able allegedly threw a punch at the 22 year-old and knocked him to the ground after removing him from the bar,” O’Keefe stated. “Able allegedly threw several more punches after knocking him to the ground, which resulted in serious injuries for the victim. The Goffstown man was treated for a broken jaw and a fractured mandibular as a result of the incident.”

Able was released on $1,000 cash bail and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Nov. 2.
