Bow Bassist ID’d As Man Who Died In Fiery Bedford Crash
Caleb Scofield, 39, played for the metal band Cave In, based out of Methuen, MA. Money is being raised for his family via YouCaring.

CONCORD, NH — A local musician has been identified as the man who passed away after a fiery truck crash at the Bedford tollbooth yesterday afternoon, according to reports online. Caleb Scofield, 39, of Bow, was killed after his truck struck the plaza and caught on fire. He was a bassist for the Bay State metal band Cave In based out of Methuen, MA.
Scofield was also a member of the band Old Man Gloom.
New Hampshire State Police told the New Hampshire Union Leader that it appeared as if Scofield was attempting to change lanes right before entering the plaza when he crashed into the barrier.

The truck immediately caught on fire and damaged about a six foot piece of the turnpike barrier.
A YouCaring fundraising effort has been set up for the family. More than $12,000 had been raised so far.
