The Truth Behind The Bedford Men's Club

New show gives you the "straight skinny" on what Club members do.

Sometimes things go on in Bedford that few people know about except those directly involved. A perfect example of this is the Bedford Men's Club, which has been a well-known local organization since 1976. So, I decided to dedicate one of my newest "Tell It Like It Is" shows to get out information about the Club that the public should know, particularly since the Club is now involved in its annual Christmas tree sale.

I think that a lot of people will be surprised to learn the scope of the Club's involvement in Bedford, and just how deep is its members' commitments to finance various Bedford projects and programs that might otherwise not happen. The show features an interview with the Club's President Jeff Benson, and we discuss Club records that I requested in order to provide a close look at the Club.

I strongly suggest that you watch the show that is now available for viewing on YouTube and will also air on BCTV Channel 16. If you click on this link, it will bring you directly to the show. http://youtu.be/MPCpSNTp1eE

After viewing it, I also suggest that you stop by the Bedford Men's Club Christmas Tree Sale that is now ongoing in the front parking area of the Bedford Village Shoppes on Route 101 (where such businesses as Pizza Bella and TekNique Restaurant are located). Club members are there Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Drop on by, and let them know what you think about the Club's efforts in Bedford.

And by the way, their Christmas trees are quite beautiful. Just telling it like it is.
