Brookside Church Announces Broadway at the Brook

THE REV. ERIC JACKSON INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE SERMON SERIES

Brookside Congregational Church today announced a limited run theme "Broadway at the Brook" for its upcoming services.

For the next four Sundays, there will be an enactment through song or a brief scene from a Broadway show following the scripture reading. The sermon will offer a perspective based on the pairing.

"The idea is to tap into familiar stories from popular musicals to tell a story and teach a lesson - like a pop-culture parable," said Rev. Eric Jackson, senior pastor at Brookside Congregational Church. "Everyone has a story and a song to share and that is the theme we will be exploring over the next four weeks. All are welcome. If you are in need of some inspiration, come check it out."
