Majestic Theatre Studios

The Ted Herbert Music School will host its Jazz Showcase on Sunday, June 7th the Ted Herbert Music School and Majestic Theatre Studios located in Manchester. This afternoon of Jazz will feature performances by the 2026 Ted Herbert Community Big Band as well as performance by Ted Herbert Students and Instructors. 
Over the last several months the Ted Herbert Community Big Band comprised of student musicians ages 13 – 19 have been rehearsing in an ensemble setting with mentoring by professional working musicians under the direction of musician, Thomas Salyers. 
Ted Herbert Community Big Band Student performers include: Anderson Brock (Tenor Sax), William Carlone (Drums), Alex Czajka (Trombone), Ash Desmarais (Trumpet), Jillian Dunlap (Alto Saxophone), Nathaniel Dunlap (Trumpet), Anne Goodwin (Baritone Sax), Colin Martineau (Tenor Sax), Martin Pennington (Piano), Evan Poisson (Drums), James Salyers (Trumpet), and Elias Vazquez (Bass).
The Ted Herbert Community Big Band Professional Musicians that have participated as mentors in the 2026 program include: Thomas Salyers (Director/Trumpet), Bob Couturier (Trumpet), Max Lalos (Trombone/Combo Director),Andrea Davies (Saxophone), Mike Jacobs (Saxophone), Rob Daisy (Saxophone),Adam Rhan (Drums), and Matt Bruneau (Drums). Robert Dionne served as the program’s administrator.

CORN HOLE: Join us to make your own one-of-a-kind corn hole set or a fun game! Cornhole sets allow for TWO MAKERS so you will need to bring a partner to help stain and paint. Boards measure 48″ long x 24″ wide, and this events includes the 2 boards, NO bags.&nbsp;Registration&nbsp;for this project will close a week prior to build.

“Majestic Theatre to present Of Mice and Men on June 19 – 21”

In this powerful tragedy, John Steinbeck’s stage adaptation of his classic novel, explores the friendship between two migrant workers, affable George and mentally challenged Lennie, and their dream of owning a farm.
Two drifters, George and his friend Lennie, with delusions of living off the “fat of the land,” have just arrived at a ranch to work for enough money to buy their own place. Lennie is a little boy in the body of a dangerously powerful man. Lennie’s obsessions with things soft and cuddly have made George cautious about with whom the gentle giant, with his brute strength, associates. His promise to allow Lennie to “tend to the rabbits” on their future land keeps Lennie calm, as the two men work towards their dream. But when a ranch boss’s promiscuous wife is found dead in the barn with a broken neck, George knows that Lennie killed her. Now worried about his own safety, George finds Lennie in his favorite hiding spot. Realizing they can no longer run away, George is faced with a moral question: How should he deal with Lennie before the ranchers find him and take matters into their own hands?
Majestic’s production is directed by Dr. Alan Kaplan, assisted by Aimee Baker and stars: Jeff Cznark, Sean Damboise, Jordan Gagan, Declan Lynch, Mike McKinnon, Benjamin Neff, Allison Sjolund, Keisha Venson, Dusty Wood, and John Wood.

Of Mice and Men runs on Friday June 19 at 7pm, Saturday, June 20 at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, June 21 at 2pm. Our Open Studio Session is a flexible, walk-in DIY experience where crafters can choose from a variety of wood projects to paint and assemble. Projects can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes to complete depending on the size of the project and how detailed you get. This event is a first come first pick with&nbsp;prices base off the project selected. No registration or reservation is needed to attend.
Rather create at home? Pick out your craft projects during our open time and we will package them up as a craft kit (stain, paints &amp; materials included) and bring it home to make!
