BHS Theatre Company Producing Clue for Spring Play, Ensuring it’s Not Just a Game Anymore

Bedford High School’s Theatre Company is thrilled to present Clue as this year's spring play, on Thursday, May 15th and Friday, May 16th at 7 PM, as well as Sunday, May 18th at 2 PM (understudy cast) and 7 PM. Adapted from the iconic board game and movie of the same name, this show is a whodunnit comedy written by Sandy Rustin with a colorful cast of oddball characters. It follows six guests under the aliases of Miss Scarlett (senior Elizabeth Vando), Professor Plum (senior Colton Weidner), Mrs. White (senior Camille Bishop), Colonel Mustard (senior Eric Fournier), Mrs. Peacock (senior Addisen Tilley), and Mr. Green (senior Avril Ericson) as they are invited to dinner at a mansion via an anonymous host (senior Kaitlyn Daley). When an unexpected murder goes underway, each of the six guests receive a weapon. They are then left to cooperate with the staff and find the culprit behind the murder before they fall victim themselves.
Nearly 40 dedicated students–actors, production staff, and technicians alike–have been working hard to bring the comedy from the script to the stage. Sophomore Daniel Lewis (Professor Plum Understudy) entices audiences to come see the show, calling it “a killer time” that will make you “die laughing!” Additionally, our own Mrs. Peacock, senior Addisen Tilley, is greatly looking forward to the performances: “people should come see it because it’s completely and utterly chaotic in all the best ways!”
Tickets can be purchased online at seatyourself.biz/bedfordhigh, or at the box office starting one hour before each show. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students. As aforementioned, the understudy cast will perform on Sunday, May 18th at 2 PM. The May 18th 7pm show is senior night. The cast and crew are incredibly excited to share this production with the community, and would love for you to be there!
