BHS Theatre Company: Witness the “Start of Something New” with this year’s musical production of High School Musical

The Bedford High School Theatre Company is exhilarated to present High School Musical as this year’s fall production on November 14th and 15th at 7pm, November 16th at 2pm, November 21st and 22nd at 7pm, and November 23rd at 2pm. This show is an adaptation of the classic Disney Channel Original film High School Musical, featuring iconic characters like basketball star Troy Bolton (Junior Daniel Lewis) and new girl Gabriella Montez (Senior Audrie Acevedo) who defy the status quo and audition for the school musical.

With 44 cast members, 24 students in tech and crew, and several student pit musicians, an amazing and captivating show is in the works for audiences of all ages! Freshman Anthony Sazo (Understudy Ryan) speaks on the dedication of the company, expressing, “We are putting over one hundred percent into this production.” Senior Audrie Acevido adds her thoughts on the meaning of the show, noting that “The show really helps people find confidence to be a part of any group, and emphasizes that everyone should be proud to be their true selves.” Audrie and the rest of the cast and crew are thrilled to bring this production to life and share it with the community!

Tickets can be purchased at seatyourself.biz/bedfordhigh or at the box office starting one hour before each show. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for children and students. The understudy show is on November 21st and senior night is on November 22nd. We’re all in this together, so come join us at the Bedford High School Theater!
