Our instructors will guide you step-by-step, making this a beginner-friendly workshop with no experience needed. Come make something beautiful, festive, and uniquely yours! ✨🎄
Your workshop includes: Tumbled sea glass, Lights, Starfish or Snowflake topper and all supplies needed to create your tree. You’re also welcome to bring small items from home to personalize your tree!

Together, we’ll watch a short excerpt from THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, a new film directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, followed by a community discussion moderated by award-winning history teacher David Alcox. The featured segment from THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION,“The Spirit of Service,” explores service as a core American value, from the nation’s founding through to the present day – examining volunteerism, civic participation, public leadership, and more. Davd will guide thoughtful conversations about “remembering together,” considering questions such as:
<ul><li>What moments from our past define who we are and point to a shared future?</li><li>What are the key historical moments in Bedford’s history?</li><li>How does focusing on these moments shape your sense of your community’s future?</li></ul>

Join us &nbsp;to create your own Cozy Blanket with just your hands, that’s right no knitting tools needed! This is a must have to&nbsp;keep warm &nbsp;during those cold New England nights!
You can pick 1 Color – for a solid color blanket – or 2 Colors – for a striped blanket look. You will get 5 skeins of yarn – 140 yards – and your blanket will measure approx. 40″ x 60″ depending on the tightness that you knit it.&nbsp; No knitting experience is necessary. This workshop will last approximately 2-3 hours. Make sure if coming with friends or a group to register at the same time or closer together as these events can sell out quick and we can’t guarantee seats if we sell out.
Please note: We do offer a variety of colors you can pick from but colors can be limited and not always available. We will try our best to accommodate everyone’s requests.
This event will close on SEPTEMBER 14th&nbsp; to&nbsp;allow time to prepare. &nbsp;Space is limited for each&nbsp;work&nbsp;so please make sure if &nbsp;you’re&nbsp;coming with friends or a group to register at the same time or closer together. You’re welcome to BYO wine or beer to sip and enjoy during the workshop.

The Craftworkers’ Guild is proud to open its 101st season with the return of our annual Harvest Craft Shop, open from Thursday, September 17th through Monday, October 12th. Join us at the historic Kendall House, located behind the Bedford Library, Thursday through Sunday each week, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This year’s Harvest Shop features the work of nearly 50 local Guild member artisans and craftspeople, showcasing a rich variety of handmade goods — from timeless New England traditions to fresh, modern designs.
“As we open this year’s Harvest Shop, we’re thrilled to highlight what lies at the very core of our mission: work that is handmade, local and deeply heartfelt,” says Carol Davis, President of The Craftworkers’ Guild. “Every piece in the shop tells a story of dedicated local artistry, offering our community a personal connection to the craft that simply can’t be replicated.”
Shoppers will find a curated selection of locally made, juried crafts, with something for everyone — from stocking stuffers to large art pieces, including seasonal décor, photography, fine art and prints, cards, woodworking, textiles, pottery, fiber arts, sewn and knitted items, candles, jewelry, glass, and more. Many items are one-of-a-kind, perfect for gifts or treating yourself.
Proceeds help support the Guild’s ongoing arts education initiatives in the community, continuing our mission to inspire creativity for the next generation of artists and makers.
