UPDATE: Manchester, Bedford Fire-Rescue teams, state troopers called to an accident this morning after sedan reportedly rear-ends a truck.
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester and Bedford Fire and Rescue teams along with New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to a crash between a Honda sedan and a fuel truck on I-293 on the Manchester/Bedford line at around 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2016.
One patient – the driver of the Honda, a teen from Hudson – was trapped inside and fire teams used two pairs of the Jaws of Life to remove the driver, according to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, who took these pictures. He was taken to Elliot Hospital with head injuries, according to New Hampshire State Police.
“The vehicle put down approximately 100 feet of skid marks before striking the truck,” according to Hastings. “The truck other than a few marks on the bumper did not appear to be damaged. The truck operator remained at the scene and was not transported.”
