Celebrity Chef Kicks Off Italian Invitational Series Tonight at BVI
Enjoy Jeff Michaud's five-course italian feast.

Tonight begins the 2012 Italian Invitational Series at the Bedford Village Inn, and organizers plan to kick things off in grand style.
Indeed, beginning this weekend, New Hampshire’s acclaimed further establishes itself as one of the top culinary-focused inns in the country, welcoming the finest Italian chefs – from across the East coast and all the way into Italy – each of whom will design and host an exclusive dinner to be enjoyed in the Inn’s Overlook Dining Room.
Tonight, 50 guests will get to experience the regional Italian culinary style of former BVI Executive Sous Chef, Jeff Michaud, who will also speak with attendees and discuss his “recipes for success.”

Michaud is currently Executive Chef/Co-Owner at Philadelphia’s Osteria and Amis Restaurants alongside Marc Vetri. His five-course menu, served alongside Certified Sommelier Jon Carnevale’s wine pairings will consist of:
Stuzzichini: Open piadinia with rabbit mortadella & burrata

First Course: Spring seafood “cacciucco” with peas, chili, red onion & fettunta;
Second Course: Beet and goat cheese plin with tarragon
Third Course: Whole roasted pork shoulder with accompaniments (Artichoke mostarda, fava bean salad & ramp pesto marinated potatoes)
Fourth Course: Pistacchio Flan with fiordilatte and marinated strawberries
Chef Michaud’s dinner menu with wine pairings is $89 per person, not including tax or gratuity. The meal will be served in the inn's Overlook Dining Room. Space is limited to 50 guests.
