Co-Founder, Former CEO of MobileRobots Shares Insights

BEDFORD, NH - The New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council) will host its next TechWomen Power Breakfast on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 7:30 to 9 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road in Bedford.

Jeanne Dietsch, co-founder and former CEO of MobileRobots, Inc - a global leader in intelligent research robotics - will headline the event. She will be presenting “Success at the Edge of Opportunity - discovering innovation leaders, selling blue jeans to the miners, and choosing your end game.”

“The Power Breakfast series continues to attract a broad range of tech-minded women from across the state and brings speakers with unique perspectives on women in STEM,” said Candice Benson, CEO of Benson Consulting and chair of the Council’s TechWomen Power Breakfast Committee. “We are eager to hear her presentation and the lessons she’s learned through her own professional experiences and entrepreneurial endeavors.”

Prior to MobileRobots, Inc., Dietsch was involved in several start-ups including a software market research firm sold to IDG and the first ecommerce market research firm founded in 1994. In 1995, MobileRobots, Inc. launched its first product. Dietsch’s work there resulted in several patents in autonomous navigation and a grant from the National Institutes of Health for development of an autonomous wheelchair. After selling the company, Dietsch went on to earn her Master of Public Administration, Science and Technology Policy, from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She was named the Robert C. Seamans Jr. Fellow in Science and Technology and the Littauer Fellow for outstanding performance and contribution. Between 2009 and 2012, Dietsch served as a columnist for IEEE Robotics & Automation Magazine and US Chair of RAS Industrial Activities Board. She also helped found the US Robotics Technology Consortium for Army research. In 2014, Dietsch founded Sapiens Plurum where she currently serves as director.
