Bedford residents impress at Colby-Sawyer College and Harding University
The following is a list of recent college graduates and scholars who have earned a place on their respective university dean's lists. Bedford Patch congratulates the following students on their achievements:
Colby-Sawyer College
MaryEllen Gately Shartzer and Kimberly Ann Shaughnessy, both of Bedford, recently graduated from Colby-Sawyer College (New London, NH).

Shartzer, who was also named to the school's spring semester Dean's List, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Society, and Culture.
Shaughnessy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Harding University
Meanwhile, in Searcy, Ark., Bedford residents Caroline and Eric Apgar each earned a place on the Harding University spring semester Dean's List, which is published each semester by Dr. Larry Long, university provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average.
