Community Music School Offers Holiday Events

Students, faculty from the Manchester Community Music School perform at the Mall of New Hampshire, Portsmouth, and the school.

  • Saturday, Dec. 13: 5 to 9 p.m., Candlelight Stroll, Strawbery Banke, 14 Hancock St. in Portsmouth.

Manchester Community Music School students and ensembles provide a musical backdrop for the annual Strawbery Banke Candlelight Stroll.

  • Tuesday, Dec. 16: 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. Holiday Music at the Mall, Mall of NH in Manchester.

Manchester Community Music School Concert Orchestra will help shoppers get into the holiday spirit with a selection of festive music in the Macy’s court in the Mall of NH.

  • Wednesday, Dec. 17: 12:10 – 1 p.m. Music’s on the Menu: FREE Admission Grace Episcopal Church, 106 Lowell St. in Manchester. Craig Fahey, Piano

Manchester Community Music School, located in historic north Manchester, is home to over 50 of New England’s finest music educators and over 1,300 students who travel throughout the year from 54 New Hampshire communities for their studies. As a cultural performance center, the school offers programs in an environment that encourages participation, interaction and enjoyment. The school is dedicated to supporting the artistic development of the community through our programs, and the school has awarded over $2 million in need-based financial aid since its founding in 1983.
