Cops: Roommate of Missing Woman is Also Missing

Manchester Police: Stephen Andrade was last seen at the Game Stop in Bedford on Sept. 21; Sue Hutchinson has been missing since Sept. 20.

Manchester Police detectives have expanded their search for a missing woman to now include her roommate, who was last seen a day after the woman went missing, according to a news alert.

According to detectives, Sue Hutchinson, 57, of Calef Road in Manchester, had a roommate – Stephen Andrade, 36, who was last seen about 24 hours after Hutchinson disappeared. So far, the investigation has revealed that Andrade may have been the last person to see Hutchinson on Sept. 20, 2015. Andrade, according to the alert, spent the evening in Boston at a relative’s house and left the next day to return to Manchester. Investigators don’t know if Andrade made it back to the apartment but they have confirmed that he was at the Game Stop in Bedford at just before 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 21. He may also be driving the silver 2005 BMW 5-Series sedan that is owned by Hutchinson, a vehicle officials have asked the public to report if they see it.

“Family members say that it is ‘out of character’ for Hutchinson and Andrade to be out of touch for this period of time,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “Investigators are trying to locate Andrade because they believe he was the last person to see Hutchinson on Sept. 20.”

Hutchinson is a Hispanic woman, about 5-feet, 2-inches tall, and weighs about 200 lbs. She has black hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses. Hutchinson also has tattoos – a dragon on her neck, a guitar on her wrist, and the sun/moon/stars on her shoulders.

Investigators also found Hutchinson’s other vehicle – a 1992 Buick Century on Sept. 23, 2015, on Wyoming Avenue not far from the apartment. Police are asking anyone with information about whoever drove the Buick to that location to come forward. They are also asking for anyone who may know where Hutchinson and Andrade are to also share information with the police.
