Manchester Police Seek Witnesses After Weekend Mass Shooting; Cops Search For White SUV
Update: Witnesses say 2 masked men fled the Elm Woods Garden housing project in a white SUV Saturday; cops seek video surveillance footage.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police in New Hampshire’s largest city are asking for the public’s help in finding leads, video surveillance footage, and witnesses after four people were shot at a graduation party at a housing project.
Around 5 p.m. Saturday, police were sent to a large, outdoor party, around the Ahern and O’Malley streets for a report of a shooting. Two men, according Heather Hamel, a public information officer, who were wearing hoods, with their faces partially covered, approached the area.
At least one of the men opened fire on the gathering, striking four people.

“This incident happened at a large gathering during the daylight hours,” Hamel said. “Manchester police are asking anyone who may have seen something to come forward.”
