Many have asked questions regarding COVID-19 testing; when, where, and how is this being done.
GENERAL GUIDANCE: Testing is being limited to those individuals who are symptomatic; that is patients who reflect qualifying symptoms of the virus and have been referred to testing by their health care provider who has guidance from the state regarding testing protocols.

This is being done to avoid overwhelming the testing facilities; preserving tests for those individuals for whom the test is medically indicated; AND to ensure the test is done at the proper time; for example, people exposed that are tested too soon will not reflect an accurate result.
The state has directed health care providers to send qualifying patients to a number of available testing facilities; this information is available from your health care provider.
