MANCHESTER, NH — A couple from Manchester, who police sought after they were accused of leaving 14 cats inside a home that was in foreclosure, has been found and arrested.

Londonderry police arrested Meghan Williams, 42, and Robert Gerhold, 59, on Thursday night after Queen City police issued an alert requesting assistance finding them. They were wanted in connection with an October 2022 case after 14 cats were found left inside a home on Seames Drive.

The officers also saw a deceased cat in the corner and several extremely thin cats could be seen on a couch.

“They did not look well and appeared to be missing fur,” she added. “Police found no food or water left out for the animals.”
