About the Craftworkers’ Guild
The Craftworkers’ Guild is the oldest craft organization in New Hampshire. As a non-profit organization, the Guild strives to bring together people who share an appreciation for handcrafts and fine art. Promoting excellence and fostering support for the development of its members as skilled and successful artisans and craftspeople remains the Guild purpose. Members are drawn to this opportunity to network and help enhance the understanding and enjoyment of arts and crafts in the community and region. Seasonal shop events take place three times a year- in the spring, fall and holiday seasons. The Guild participates in other community events throughout the year as well, and as a member of NH Made, participates in the annual November “Open Doors” touring and shopping weekend. A portion of the shop proceeds benefits the Guild’s Education fund, which offers programs open to the public, provides grants to public schools for arts and crafts programs that enrich the curriculum, and awards scholarships for students pursuing higher education related to creative endeavors.
