Derry Man Arrested In Bomb Threat Case
Police arrested Matthew Duverger on a felony false report charge after he allegedly phoned in a bomb threat to the Hannaford in Goffstown.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — A New Hampshire man has been arrested after a five-month investigation into a bomb threat at a local grocery store. Matthew Duverger, 28, of Derry, was arrested on May 16, 2017, for felony false report as to explosives. Back on Jan. 15, police reported that the Hannaford on Mast Road in Goffstown had received a phone call stating that there was a bomb in the pharmacy of the store.

Fire and rescue teams as well as police responded to the scene and later, determined there was no bomb in the store. The incident was investigated and during the course of police eyeing the case, Duverger emerged as a suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was arrested on May 16.

Duverger was released on bail and will be arraigned on June 8.
