Detour Implemented On Main Street In Goffstown
Town's DPW has created a one-way loop until further notice during specific hours Monday through Thursday.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — Goffstown Police are notifying the public about a traffic alert in town – the detour on southbound side of Main Street that. The Goffstown Department of Public Works implemented the detour this week creating a one-way loop between Church and Depot streets. The loop began this week.

“All vehicles can use Church Street off North Mast Street (Route 114) or Main Street and follow signs,” according to police. “Once back on Main Street vehicles can head north or south as needed to access all open businesses.”

Limited parking is available for Main Street businesses both on-street and in the three municipal lots – look for the large blue parking signs. The detour runs Monday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Police noted that the truck detour was also still in place for trucks needing access to Route 13. Trucks must continue to use Parker Road in New Boston until all truck apron work is completed. Passenger vehicles can maneuver through this work zone without any problems, the alert stated.
