MCC Opens Bedford Campus Tomorrow

BEDFORD – This Sunday, Manchester Christian Church will open a second campus at 56 Old Bedford Road in Bedford. The building, formerly known Bedford Community Church, has undergone major renovations in anticipation of welcoming hundreds of people every Sunday for services at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

The services will include live music and a sermon by Manchester Christian Church Senior Pastor Bo Chancey that will be simulcast on a 9’ by 14’ screen from Manchester Christian Church’s main campus at 1308 Wellington Road in Manchester.

In addition, there will be safe and secure childcare for babies and children through 5^th grade. Coffee will also be available for purchase.

With the opening of a second campus, Manchester Christian Church is following a growing trend around the country that helps churches grow with little time and financial resources. The church’s main campus at Wellington Road is at capacity for three of its four services. The Bedford campus allows the church to add more seats and reach more people by using an existing building and many of the management and other resources it already has. Plans for additional campuses in and around Manchester will be announced soon.

Bedford Community Church voted to merge with Manchester Christian Church in late May, and the church members were invited to join the Wellington Road campus during the building’s renovations, which include new carpet, stage, entrance and lobby. The public is invited to see the changes at an upcoming service or at an Open House scheduled for this Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.  

Barry Lewandowski will serve as Campus Pastor of Manchester Christian Church’s Bedford location and Johanna Beachy will be the Campus Children’s Director.
