The Bedford Historical Society, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Humanities Council, is pleased to present "Stark Decency: New Hampshire's WWII German Prisoner of War Camp" with Dr. Allan V.Koop, Dartmouth College. Dr. Koop will speak on this little-known story about the friendships that formed between the prisoners at the POW camp and the guards and members of the town of Stark, New Hampshire, between 1943 and 1945.
This program is free and open to the public. In addtion we offer you the opportunity to learn more about the Bedford Historical Society and its ongoing projects. Refreshments will be served.
