Eversource To Conduct Helicopter Patrols In Bedford, Merrimack
Eversource has requested permission to patrol the electric grid in Bedford, Merrimack and Goffstown, weather permitting, this week.
BEDFORD, NH — Residents of Bedford, Merrimack and Goffstown should not be alarmed with any helicopters flying overhead this week. Eversource transmission system operators have requested the aerial patrols to ensure reliability of the electric grid.
The flights are weather permitting. The aircraft used is a black Bell helicopter.
The patrols are scheduled for between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
