Region’s premier boat show grows 20 percent, expands into new hall to showcase more new boats, more educational opportunities, and more fun for winter-weary families

The 2015 Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show brings summer fun to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center February 14-22, 2015 for those looking to escape the winter chill and prepare for boating season. More than 800 new boats and boating accessories for all budgets and lifestyles will be on display, in addition to dozens of daily boating seminars and activities for all ages and skill levels.

With an additional 100,000 square feet of floor space and 20 new exhibitors, the nine-day show features luxury motor yachts, sport fishers, performance boats, and personal watercrafts, as well as dozens of sailboats and sailing yachts.

Highlights of the 2015 show include appearances by fisherman Dave Carraro, of National Geographic’s Wicked Tuna, who will be signing autographs and meeting fans on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 20-22, and the new Progressive Boat School, where nautical newcomers can boost their boating IQ and learn the fundamentals of boat safety through daily clinics or virtual boating simulators.

The boat show also offers free seminars for DIY boaters, informational clinics for any type of boater and hands-on activities for young skippers and families.
