Fiery Bedford Tollbooth Crash Reported On Everett Turnpike
Breaking: Several lanes of the southbound side of the Everett Turnpike in Bedford are closed due to a vehicle crash and fire.
BEDFORD, NH — Several lanes of the Everett Turnpike in Bedford are closed to traffic due to a fiery crash at the tollbooth on Thursday.

Limited information is available at post time, but according to posts on X-Twitter, around 3:30 p.m., fire and rescue teams were called to the tollbooth for a vehicle crash with heavy smoke and fire. Later, New Hampshire State Police said several lanes were closed due to the fire.

“Drivers should anticipate delays and avoid the area, if possible,” the report stated.
Just before 4 p.m., state police said it was a single-vehicle accident with four toll lanes closed. Two, however, remain open.
