'Fore the Children' A Big Success

Team Fuller came out to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester at the 2nd Annual Fore the Children Mini Golf Tournament.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester (BBBSGM) thanks the community for making the 2nd Annual Fore the Children Mini Golf Tournament a BIG success. The organization raised over $5,000 which will be used to match five new youth, or “Littles”, with a mentor, or “Bigs”, in the community. BBBSGM serves over 350 youth each year from the Greater Manchester and Concord communities. Without the support of many individuals, volunteers, local companies and sponsors this would not be possible.

A total of 44 mini golf teams came out to Legends Golf in Hooksett, NH to show their support and participated in this year’s event. BBBSGM Executive Director Katie Orlando thanked the Town of Hooksett and surrounding communities for all of their support. “We take a lot of pride in the one-to-one mentoring matches we provide around the state and it is always very encouraging to see the towns we serve come out and support our efforts in such a big way.”

BBBSGM Community Relations and Events Manager, Andrew Provencher was also thrilled with this year’s successful event. “Every time we have a successful event like this it is great to know that we will be able to directly support the formation of new mentoring matches. The continued support from all our corporate sponsors, event participants and volunteers was enormous and definitely the key to making our event into such a success.”
