Georgia Man Arrested for Credit Card Fraud
Bedford Police: Nickerson Lauriston was arrested at Target after an employee recalls him from a previous case at the same store.

BEDFORD, NH - A Georgia man was arrested last week on credit card fraud charges after Target store employee recognized him from a previous incident.
Nickerson Lauriston, 31, of Atlanta, GA, was arrested on Jan. 14, 2016, and charged with four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, two of them felonies.

According to police, just after noontime, officers were sent ot the Target on South River Road for a report of a suspect involved in a prior credit card incident at the same store, which police were already investigating.
The officers located Lauriston, spoke to him, and discovered he was, in fact, the previous suspect that was allegedly running a credit card scam in the area.

Lauriston was arrested and held at the Valley Street Jail on $33,000 bail pending a probable cause hearing in Merrimack District Court.
“I am proud of the strong investigative work by the Bedford Police in this case,” said Chief John Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department in a statement. “It is disappointing that we have individuals in our community who choose to exploit innocent victims. However, we can rest assured this person will be held accountable for their actions thanks to the hard work of police and swift action of Target employees.”
According to his online footprint, Lauriston has been arrested a number of times in Georgia. About this time four years ago, he was arrested for forgery in the first-degree, ID fraud, theft, and other charges. Also in 2012, he was arrested for obstruction and hit-and-run. He was also arrested for marijuana possession, suspension, violation of probation, and other charges in 2012.
