Located in the Heart of Manchester - Open Year Round as a hybrid fusion of figure skating Off-Ice. Learn To Skate Classes Weekly, Advanced Figure Skating Training and Recreational Fitness suitable for all ages and levels. Figure Skating, Hockey and other Roller Sports are taught on a unique Inline Skate that mimics an ice blade. We are the first of its kind in New Hampshire. The invention of this hybrid skate has led to the growing sport of Inline Figure Skating. We also skate on quad roller skates for those who prefer. Our school is member of WIFSA (World Inline Figure Skating Association) and USARS (United States of America Roller Sports) First of it's kind, Artistic In-Line and Roller Skating Lessons. Providing a fun and safe skating experience for skaters of all ages and abilities, with programming endorsed by WIFSA which teaches correct skating technique while promoting physical fitness. NERS follows the curriculum of Learn To Skate USA with a commitment to the best quality programming and coaching in New England. If your goal is to skate recreationally or advance to the competitive worlds of figure skating sanctioned by WIFSA, USARS and others, NERS has the right class for you. We skate year round. We welcome all ages and levels. No experience is necessary. Start anytime. We prorate. Our classes run in 8 weekly sessions for 2 hours on Friday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM and Saturday from 9-11 AM We also have Advanced Freestyle on Friday from 5:30-6:30 PM for more technical advanced coaching and training. The Swift Water Paddlers, a champion Girl Scout canoe racing team, is holding a car wash tomorrow, Sunday, May 6, from 12-4 p.m. at Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains Swiftwater Council headquarters at One Commerce Drive, on the corner of South River Road, in Bedford. Proceeds from the event will aid in travel costs to two upcoming races: the Great Smith River Race in Wolfeboro on May 19, and the General Clinton Canoe Regatta in Bainbridge, NY on May 26.

The Craftworkers’ Guild Spring&nbsp;Shop Celebrating 100 Years of&nbsp;Craftsmanship, Community and Creativity
The Craftworkers’ Guild is proud to continue the celebration of our 100th anniversary year with the Spring Shop. The shop will be open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursdays to Sundays from April 30th through May 24th. Our shop is located at the historic Kendall House, 3A Meetinghouse Road in Bedford, behind the Bedford Library.
Now in our centennial year, the Guild continues to honor a century-long commitment to excellence in fine craftsmanship. This year’s Spring Shop features the work of over 40 local Guild member artisans and craftspeople, showcasing a rich variety of handmade goods — from timeless New England traditions to fresh, modern designs.
“Reaching this 100-year milestone fills us with gratitude for the generations of crafters who shaped our Guild, and it inspires is to share a collection that honors that legacy while embracing new creative directions,” says Carol Davis, President of the Craftworkers’ Guild. “Each shop brings its own burst of imagination, and this year’s shop carries a special weight as we celebrate a century of handcrafted artistry.”
Shoppers will find a curated selection of locally made, juried crafts, with something for everyone — from Mother’s Day gifts to graduation and wedding presents — including seasonal décor, photography, fine art and prints, cards, woodworking, textiles, pottery, fiber arts, sewn and knitted items, soap and body care, gourmet goodies, candles, jewelry, glass, and more. Many items are one-of-a-kind, perfect for gifts or treating yourself.
Proceeds help support the Guild’s ongoing arts education initiatives in the community, continuing our mission to inspire creativity for the next generation of artists and makers.

As part of our full slate of summer picnics, you’re cordially invited to join us for a delightful Memorial Day celebration at the Granite State Baptist Church. We’ll be hosting a full pig roast (plus hot dogs, salads, homemade desserts including homemade ice cream, endless sodas, etc.) and great company. There will also be ample parking and simple games for young and old.&nbsp; And if you are prone to sleeplessness feel free to drop by anytime after 6:00am --&nbsp; there will be several of us there manning the roasting pit under the big tent next door.

Join us for our third annual plant sale and marketplace with proceeds benefitting the gardens at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. The gardens are entirely supported and funded by a dedicated team of volunteers from throughout the community. We are planning a tremendous event with over 150 varieties of exceptional native plants and non-natives that support our local wildlife. 
This includes many species that are indigenous to our area of New Hampshire which means they are extremely valuable for the successful reproduction of our native butterflies and moths. Our plants are New Hampshire grown and will be sold below retail price.
Our marketplace will include the ever popular moss terrariums, handmade quilts, decoupage shells, jewelry, and beautiful handmade cards by Deb Wiseman Photography. We will also have an assortment of garden tools and garden-themed items. Tell your friends!
