Girls on the Run Fall Team Registration is Open at Four Bedford Schools

Girls on the Run is a ten-week program that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained volunteer coaches use our research-based curricula to teach foundational lessons through dynamic discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the program, girls develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event in Concord on November 18th. The program is designed for girls in grades 3-5 of all fitness and ability levels. Teams will be held at McKelvie Intermediate School (through 6th grade), Memorial School, Peter Woodbury School, and Riddle Brook School beginning September 6th.
