Goffstown Hosts Drug Take Back Effort April 29
Bring your medications for disposal to Goffstown Police Department at 326 Mast Road. No needles or liquids can be accepted.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017, the Goffstown Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 13th nationwide, one day collaborative drug take-back initiative effort to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation’s homes. This national initiative, according to a press statement, will provide an opportunity for the public to surrender pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction.
Expired, unused, or unwanted controlled substances in our homes are a potential source of supply for the increasing abuse of pharmaceutical drugs in the United States and an unacceptable risk to public health and safety. Bring your medications for disposal to Goffstown Police Department at 326 Mast Road in Goffstown. No needles or liquids can be accepted. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Citizens are now advised that their usual methods for disposing of unused medicines - flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash - both pose potential safety and health hazards.
