BEDFORD, NH — The New Hampshire Food Bank will receive more than $112,900 – raising the total to more than $669,655 raised for the Catholic Charities New Hampshire program over the past 10 years of the Workplace Benefit Solutions HUB Harvest Golf Classic – following the 10th annual event in September. The NH Food Bank helps support the one in nine NH residents who do not know where their next meal will come from.

"The critical funding raised over the past 10 years is remarkable and would not be possible without the continued support of WBS-HUB and all of the participant and sponsors who have generously taken part in this event," said Eileen Liponis, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Food Bank. "As the only food back in the state, which receives no state or federal funding for food distribution, this is a milestone for which we are truly grateful."

The Harvest Golf Classic was part of Feeding America's Hunger Action Month — which urges residents and business to take action in the fight against hunger. A sold-out field of 132 golfers played at the Manchester County Club on Sept. 16 with the top foursome prize being an $800 gift card to the Manchester Country Club pro shop.
