Brookside Thrift Shop opens the doors to its new expanded location in the carriage house behind Brookside Congregational Church. The church's historical building in the North end will now allow for a broader offering for one of the largest populations in need - children and families.
"We are thrilled to be able to expand our offerings in this new location, said Calley Milne, chair of the Brookside Thrift Shop Operating Committee. "The new floor plan offers four treasure-filled rooms ready to meet the needs of the entire family. Our doors are opening to a great line of spring clothing in both the Children's Corner and the Men's and Women's departments. Also come and browse the Book Nook for great used titles, music and games sure to entertain."
The Brookside Thrift Shop offers men’s, women's and children's clothing, home furnishings, toys, games, puzzles, furniture and much more.

"It's tax season and spring cleaning time," said Milne "There is no better place than Brookside Thrift Shop to make a donation. That one action can help you de-clutter your home and provide you with both a tax receipt along with the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping those in need within your own community."
Donation items may be dropped off at the thrift shop during business hours. Items must be clean and in good working order. Brookside Thrift Shop will also schedule pick-up of large item furniture donations. For a list of items that are appreciated and accepted, please visit: http://brooksidecc.info/bcc-thrift-shop.

Proceeds of the thrift shop support the local community outreach of Brookside Congregational Church. The church divides its outreach into two categorizes - the space they share as well as their time and resources.
