Happy Valentine's Day: There's Another Nor'easter Coming
Brutal cold air, more snow expected in New Hampshire this weekend.

It’s mid-February, so winter weather is expected. But how about a reprieve for Valentine’s Day, so everyone can go out and celebrate with his or her sweetheart?
Sorry, not a chance.
Weather forecasters are predicting that it’s going to be a bitter cold, blustery, and snowy weekend and while that might be good for snuggling, it’s not going to be good for much of anything else.

“Snow, fierce wind, and bitterly cold air” is some of the weather being predicted by AccuWeather.com, noting that the storm will come in two phases – a weak system, at first, and then a second burst following through.
The National Weather Service is suggesting that temperatures will drop down to the single digits on Friday and below zero overnight, with wind chills making it feel as if it is as much as -15 degrees. It will warm up a tad – into the lower teens – on Saturday as the nor’easter develops offshore with plans to hit New Hampshire in the afternoon. Overnight lows on Saturday will be in the single digits. The snow is expected to continue into Sunday with gusty winds.

Exact snow totals are not known at this time but predictions are that as much as a foot of snow could fall by the time the storm ends on Sunday but WMUR-TV forecasters are suggesting that it will be “significant.”
