Hassan Directs Flags to Half-Staff to Honor Marston
Concord, former Bedford Navy Seal died on Jan. 10.

Gov. Maggie Hassan has issued a directive fly flags at half-staff around New Hampshire on Saturday, Jan. 17, to honor of Special Warfare Operator 1st Class William Blake Marston of Concord, who passed away on Jan. 10, in a parachuting accident.
“William Blake Marston’s unyielding commitment to serving his fellow citizens, his state and his country demonstrated the very best of the strength and resilience that define the Granite State. Though there is nothing that we can do to ease the pain of his loss, Tom and I join all Granite Staters in coming together to do everything that we can to support Blake’s family, loved ones and community.”
A celebration of Marston’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Bedford Presbyterian Church.
