Hassan Speaks in Bedford Wednesday

Governor Hassan to Also Speak at The Hundred Club of New Hampshire's Annual Meeting and New Member Reception.

Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, will speak at the grand opening of SolarCity’s first New Hampshire facility, highlighting how New Hampshire’s growing clean energy sector helps reduce energy costs, creates jobs and protects our natural resources, according to a press statement.

The governor will tour the facility and welcome SolarCity to the Granite State.

Later, Hassan will speak at The Hundred Club of New Hampshire’s Annual Meeting and New Member Reception in Bedford, where she will thank members for their unyielding support of families of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters.

The Hundred Club of New Hampshire offers scholarships and financial assistant to the dependents of New Hampshire police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The Governor will also visit the New Hampshire Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry at Seacoast Family Food Pantry in Portsmouth, helping distribute meals to combat hunger. The Mobile Food Pantry program provides food to high-need areas of the state.
