Free Family Afternoon of Fun and Learning for Service Members, Veterans & Their Families at the Aviation Museum in Londonderry

Service members, veterans and military families are invited to attend a free family event on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 2 pm-4:00 pm at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, 27 Navigator Road (re-named from 13 East Perimeter Road), Londonderry, NH.
Families will enjoy free exclusive museum access for the afternoon. Kids will have a blast taking a supervised museum tour, participating in aviation experiments, and creating art that flies. Parents and caregivers will enjoy a special presentation by Paul Callen of the Military Child Education Coalition that will center on easing transitions unique to military families.
Service members, veterans and their families are woven into the landscape of New Hampshire, which can sometimes camouflage their unique needs. This special presentation will help parents and guardians of military children identify the tools they can use to best advocate for their child in schools, day care, after school activities or any child focused activity within the community. The fun and informative afternoon will be topped off with an ice cream sundae bar for everyone.
