The Fresh Market at the Bedford Mall entrance is scheduled to open June 27.

The project, which now has a foundation being laid, is along a busy stretch of South River Road that has other opportunities.

New businesses include Kohl's and Pet Supplies Plus at 87 South River Road, which is now open and has a grand opening party this weekend, March 31 and April 1.
