Krispy Kreme Coming to NH
Four locations will be opened in the Granite State; three also opening in Maine.

Look out, Dunkin’ Donuts: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the delectably sweet and popular donut and coffee chain, announced on Feb. 15, 2016, that it had signed a development agreement with NH Glazed to open seven new locations, including four in New Hampshire, during the next few years.
While the locations are not known yet, the stores will be the first ones to open in New Hampshire, according to a press statement on BusinessWire.com.
“The demand for Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee continues to grow throughout New England, so we are very happy to bring this iconic brand to New Hampshire and Maine,” said Patricia Perry, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts’ Vice President, Global Franchise Development in a statement. “Our partner, Cort Mendez, owner of NH Glazed, LLC, is experienced in the restaurant industry and is committed to delivering the high-quality Krispy Kreme Doughnuts experience to our customers in those states.”

Mendez previously owned 10 Five Guys franchises in New Hampshire. He noted that Krispy Kreme was already very popular in the Northeast and he was “confident” that the openings would be successful.
Currently, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has about 300 shops in 41 states across the United States, according to the press statement.
