"I am proud of the work I have done to make our government more responsible with tax payer dollars and our state a better place to find a job or start a business. However, we have much work to do if we are to keep youth in our state, reduce health insurance costs, and improve government efficiencies and service, and I am determined to address these issues and solve real problems for the people of Bedford. Sanborn is a first-term state representative who made a name for herself at the Statehouse by creating the NH House Business Coalition, the largest pro-business caucus in state history.
Since she formed the House Business Coalition in January 2011, the non-partisan group has grown to more than 100 legislators and has succeeded in passing in excess of 50 bills aimed at improving the climate for job creation and economic growth in our state. These bills, Sanborn said, have made critical tax reforms, improved the state's competitiveness in attracting and retaining employers, and have significantly reduced excessive regulations and red tape.
