Aitken: Let's Not Turn NH Into Massachusetts

Or any of the other surrounding states for that matter

You've likely heard the expression "The NH Advantage".

Sadly, Republican Reps Packard, Alexander, Yokela, Osborne and a few others on the Republican side don't seem to care about preserving it. They just don’t get it when it comes to the ‘Special’ Housing Committee. (See Concord Monitor)

It should not be the state’s purview to tell towns what housing they can and cannot build. Towns have zoning for a reason and because it gives everyone a choice while maintaining property values and aesthetics.

And just like what they did with the Housing Appeals Board, the state should not be ‘stacking the deck’ to favor developers over middle-class homeowners. This is called corruption, and bowing to special interests.

Legislators must make this stop. Voters must end the careers of those like Alexander, Yokela and others who are pushing the goals of Agenda 2030. It is not part of the Republican platform.
