RECAP: Bedford Wins to Reach Regional Final

New Hampshire's 11- and 12-year-old Little League all-star champs playing in elimination game.

BRISTOL, CT - Good afternoon, everyone. We ran a live blog during today's 2-0 Bedford win over Wellesley South (Mass) with continuous updates throughout the game. Feel free to scroll below for a recap of the game, and check back later for a recap.

Bedford will now play the winner of Connecticut and Vermont, who play at 1 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday night.

11:36 - Grant Lavigne finishes the game having one strikeout, allowing two hits and shutting out the Mass. all-stars on 75 pitches!

11:35 - Bedford, a 2-0 winner over Mass., now moves on to Saturday night's game against the winner of Conn. vs. Vermont.

11:34 - Quintal makes an outstanding diving catch in foul territory to get the final out!

11:33 - 2 strikes to Bentley. Mass down to last strike.

11:32 - Seidl long fly out down left field line to Connor Collins who makes second out.

11:31 - Lavigne handles a chopper back to the mound, nearly overthrows Quintal at 1B, who makes a great snag and recovers to get the first out.

11:30 - Last chance here for Mass. Bedford enters the inning with a 2-0 lead. Pitcher Grant Lavigne looks for the complete game shutout, entering the inning with 66 pitches.

11:29 - Quintal strikes out to end the inning.
