Local author Kathy Brodsky showcases books at book signing in Santa Monica, California
"High Wire Act" and "A CatFish Tale" offer insight based on Brodsky's years as a psychotherapist

Award-winning local author Kathy Brodsky showcased two of her latest works at a book-signing event at the Books and Cookies Book Store in Santa Monica, California, last week. The books, “High Wire Act” (about a little traffic light that, because of strong winds, falls off its wire and lands on a truck, causing some comical chaos) and “A CatFish Tale” (loosely based on a true story about the friendship between a cat and a penguin), offer insights based on Brodsky’s 47 years as a psychotherapist. Both books were named Book Of The Year from Creative Child Magazine. “El Cuento de Don Gato Pez,” the Spanish-language edition of “A CatFish Tale,” is the first of three of Brodsky’s books that will be translated into Spanish versions. All of Brodsky’s books weave positive messages in rhyme that instill important life lessons for kids, parents and teachers alike.
