Local Woman Arrested on Charges in Merrimack
Jennifer Turner of Bedford was arrested on a warrant for stalking and violation of a protective order earlier this month.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local woman was arrested recently and held without bail after allegedly violating a restraining order and stalking a victim in Merrimack, according to police. Jennifer B. Turner, 43, of Wallace Road in Bedford, was arrested on Aug. 10, 2016, on both charges.

According to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department, officers investigated an incident at just before 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2016, after Turner had allegedly had “both direct and verbal contact” with a family member listed on a protective order.

“Upon further investigation, the violation of the order was confirmed and the above warrant was completed for Turner’s arrest,” he noted.
Turner surrendered to police the next day after the warrant was issued and was held without bail. She was scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 11.
